Smooth Operator
By Simon
About Simon
I am a husband and a dad of two little girls. I am a lone Y chromosome and am already planning my escape strategy to deal with the estrogen flood that is on its way. People say there is a lot of joy to be found in the simple things and I have found they can provide a healthy dose of anti-awesome as well. I am, in general, a pretty optimistic guy and needed a bit of a creative outlet; so here it is. Thanks for stopping by.

If they made a movie about my life, the actor to play me would be whoever is best at walking around the house turning lights off.

I can’t express to you how much this picture stresses me out. I can just hear my 5-year-old screaming, “Look what you did, Mommy! You ruined my life!” Yep, that’s happened.

This exact situation was cause of a lot of anger and frustrations as a child. That and stepping on legos.

That pretty much sums up life, doesn’t it?

Yep, that’s how I roll, too. Cause, you know, I did that on purpose.

I never could figure these things out, or the box ones that makes everything squirt out the top if you hold them too tight. Perhaps I would have learned had I had children. 😉

As to your tagline “some things are awesome, some not so much” … that is a pretty awesome photo. I laughed a lot! 😀

Did YOU do that? Looks a lot like Daddy accidentally manhandled the pouch. 🙂
